Traveling to Shirdi here I will share my experience of a bike riding journey for almost 250 km in one day on a 150 cc bike with a pillion. During this whole journey, I am the only person riding the bike because my pillion friend Anil was not very confident to ride a bike on the highway.
I am, not a professional bike rider I just ride a bike once a month just for fun and to enjoy the road journey.
My plan was to travel to Lonavala on the bike but my friend Anil was not ready for Lonavala. He was interested in a one-day road trip.
My bike ride experience with a pillion Travelling to Shirdi
His plan was to visit Shirdi as it was 120 km from Aurangabad so we plan to ride a bike to Shirdi and take blessings of sai baba. So the total kilometer that we will ride a bike which is almost 250 km.
So as we planned that we will go early in the morning 5:30 am. As we are from Aurangabad Maharashtra.
But Anil arrived nearly at 6:30 a.m So the bike journey started from Aurangabad to Shirdi via Vaijapur which is nearly 120 km.
We had a wonderful ride and the atmosphere was cold we both enjoyed the bike ride journey the road is very nice.
Tough bike ride as it was raining
Near Kopargoan, it started raining we did not expect rain as we did not carry a rain jacket. It was very difficult to ride a bike because of the heavy rain the road was completely wet it is dangerous to ride a bike on a highway.
So we have decided that we will be going to stop. So we stopped roadside hotel their we had delicious and tasty snacks bhaji and tea
I don’t drink tea so I did breakfast of bhaji and pav. So after 30 min, the rain has been stopped then the journey started to Shirdi we nearly reached at 9:30 am.
We parked our bike at paid parking of 32 rupees, after parking our bike we went to take the blessing of sai baba.
We kept all our belonging like our mobile, helmet shoe bag, etc in a locker. Then we took the blessings of Shri sai baba which took only 30 min.
As we arrived early there was a very less crowd of devotees. We also took the darshan of Dwarka Mai and Chawadi mandir. Dwarkamai is a place where sai baba lived till the end of his life and solved the problems of the people.
Here he cured the people of their sickness and worries. Till 11:30 am where exploring the sai baba temple area.
Sai Teerth Theme Park
Then we went to the Sai Teerth theme park which is 1 km from the sai baba temple opposite to water park.
Here they show the movie of sai baba, a 5D show and much more it is a nearly a 3-hour show and the ticket is 471 Rupees.
But we had a shortage of time we did not experience the show but we almost spend 1:30 hour outside the Sai Teerth theme park we had taken a couple of pictures.
Free food it is very taste
At 1:30 p.m. we went to Sai Prasadalay where devotees can have free food. It is run by Sai baba trust and nearly 4000 people can have food at a time. The food consists of chapati, sabzi, Dal, Chawal, and Sheera. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed it.
After having such a spiritual experience, we left for Aurangabad at 3:30 pm. This time we took a different route which was via Shrirampur and Newasa. Personally speaking, the roads are not in good condition and nearly 25 km road is really bad. The best route to visit Shirdi from Aurangabad is via Vaijapur and Kopargaon.
Near Pravarasangam we took a break and had tea and snacks we almost took a break for 45 minutes.
At 7 pm we reached our home safely.
