In this city, there is a total of 52 historical gates which are built during the period of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Some of the gate’s names are makai gate, Bhadkal Gate, Kat Kat Gate, Roshan Gate, and Delhi Gate they all are in very good condition, etc.

Ajanta caves

These monuments were built during the Rashtrakuta dynasty. It has a total of 100 caves and out of 100 only 34 caves are open for tourists.
From 1 to 12, it is Buddhist caves and 13 to 29 are Hindu temples and 30 to 24 are Jain caves. Entry ticket is 30 rupees per person for Indians and 500 rupees for foreigners.
Bibi Ka Maqbara
Biwi ka Maqbara is also called mini taj mahal. So the distance from the railway station is 6 km from the main bus stand is 4 kilometers and the distance from the airport is 13 kilometers.
Entry ticket is between 25 to 30 rupees for Indians and for foreigners between 300 to 350 rupees (Note: Entry fee may get changed).
Make sure you must visit this historical monument Bibi Ka Maqbara before 6 pm. Spend at least 2 hours exploring this monument properly yes 2 hours is more than enough.

The Bibi Ka Maqbara is built by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb’s son Azam Shah in memory of his beloved mother Dilras Banu Begum in 1660.

Sonari Mahal is located on the campus of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. It was constructed during the 17 century. It says This mahal is painted in gold.

When I spoke to the person of Sonari Mahal they told me that the things in the museum are collected from different parts of the city and state of India.

Panchakki
Panchakki is in the center of Aurangabad city. Near Panchakki a very old historical gate name Mahmud Darwaza.
The entry ticket is 10 Rupees per person and the time is from 7 am to 9 pm. In Panchakki there is a huge banyan tree that is more than 600 years old and also you will get to see the museum, underground hall, mosque, the tomb of baba shah Musafir, and a grinder (water mill).
It is a historical place built by Muslim Sufi saint baba shah Musafir in the 17 century. He came from Russia.
The best part is that 6 km from Panchakki a Jatwada mountain where he digs 30 feet and then found a spring of water. That water without electricity and motor from underground he brought in Panchakki.
Today also that water is continuously flowing as you can see in Panchakki. With that water, the fountain is flowing and Grind grain for the pilgrims.

Daulatabad fort
Daultabad Fort is just 13 km from Aurangabad city. Entry ticket is 10 rupees per person and timing is 9 am to 6 pm. It is an amazing fort and must Place to visit in Aurangabad. To explore this fort properly you need at least 3 to 4 hours or it may be a whole day.

Through the battle, nobody won the Daultabad fort. Daultabad Fort is also called Devgiri Fort. It is built in 1187 AD by the Yadav dynasty.

The best time to visit the garden at the evening but if you want to explore the zoo then you must visit at 4 o clock.
